- Brent has completed thousands of dives ranging from the rock quarries of Indiana, to the Great lakes of USA and Canada, Caribbean, South Pacific, and Mediterranean.
- His life long interest in science and art has combined to create his personal view, Art from a Divers's Eye View.
- His art represents a unique view into the underwater world from the perspective of an underwater explorer.
- Brent holds a MFA in Art from the University of Michigan, and is a member of the Ocean Artists Society.
